The University of Venda (UNIVEN) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department recently held the Induction Workshop for ICT Student Assistants. This workshop was held to introduced newly appointed student assistants to their roles within the University’s ICT Department.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr Sam Khoza, Director of ICT Department, who emphasised that the programme is designed to provide valuable experience rather than financial gain. He highlighted the number of former student assistants and interns that have successfully transitioned into full-time ICT roles, both within the University and the broader industry.
