Dr Thivhavhudzi Muriel Badugela  is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Studies. She has worked for over 5 years in the higher education sector. S/he specializes in Curriculum Studies and has published extensively in peer-reviewed and accredited journals. Her recent publications are: 1)Thesis: Exploring the viability of integrating Indigenous knowledge into Life Orientation Curriculum year: 2019. She has also written book chapters. Re-Thinking the role of indigenous System in Life Skills Education Among the Youth of Local Communities, chapter 19, Year: 2022. Revisiting the effects of colonialism on Africa’s Indigenous knowledge. Chapter 4, Year: 2024. She has supervised Honours students. Dr Badugela is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education at the University of Venda.
